Achieve Beyond is a national Pediatric Therapy and Autism Services agency. With offices in New York (Metro area/Long Island, Hudson Valley & Albany), New Jersey, Virginia/DC area, Connecticut, Minnesota, Maryland, Delaware, and California (greater Los Angeles & Orange County, and San Diego). Achieve Beyond provides quality evaluation and therapy services such as special education, autism services, speech, physical, and occupational therapies to children birth through twenty-one years of age via telehealth, in clinic and in homes and the community.

This Administrative Assistant Intern position requires strong communication skills and customer service. The Administrative Assistant Intern is responsible for assisting the Records Management Department to ensure all child files contain require documentation and meet state/county regulations..

The ideal candidate is one who thrives working in a goal-oriented environment and is passionate about ensuring that excellent healthcare services are provided to the children and families we serve.

We are looking for a strong, motivated individual who is able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. This position requires the candidate to be a team player as well as an independent worker. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete electronic and hardcopy filing of required documents into child’s files
  • Assist with front desk responsibilities as needed
  • Monitor progress of the dropboxes and ensure all files are up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
  • Must be able to multi-task under time constraints
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office-particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
