Education Services?
Our developmental services focus on screening, evaluation, and intervention services to address the functional developmental needs of a child with a developmental delay or disability. We specialize in a variety of developmental areas including, but not limited to, cognitive process, communication, motor, behavior, and social interaction.
Achieve Beyond Pediatric Special
Education Services
At Achieve Beyond, our Special Educators evaluate each child’s global development to see the areas of developmental delay. Next, they create a therapeutic plan for the child and the family. This helps the child in the following areas:
- Play, imitation, and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal, social and communicative skills
- Emotional development
- Self-concept development
- Behavior / self-regulating skills
- Classroom readiness
- Adaptive development
Our educators work in collaboration with the family, service coordinators and other service providers. We also work with parents and caregivers via family training, education and support provided to assist the family of a child with a disability in understanding his or her functional developmental needs and to enhance his or her development.
