Achieve Beyond is a national Pediatric Therapy and Autism Services agency. With offices in New York (Metro area/Long Island, Hudson Valley & Albany), New Jersey, Virginia/DC area, Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware, and California (greater Los Angeles & Orange County, San Diego and San Francisco). Achieve Beyond provides quality evaluation and therapy services such as special education, autism services, speech, physical, and occupational therapies to children birth through twenty-one years of age via telehealth, in clinic and in homes and the community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, hardworking Evaluation Department Manager to join our growing team. The Evaluation Department Manager is responsible for ensuring all children referred for evaluation receive high quality, clinically appropriate assessments in accordance with state and county regulations. Responsibilities also include overseeing department functions and supervising individuals within the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Review evaluation reports to ensure compliance with state/county regulations and for clinical appropriateness.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the evaluation process in the EI, CPSE and CSE programs.
  • Directly oversee individuals working within the Evaluation Department
  • Conduct activities to monitor the department daily, ensuring all goals are met.
  • Attend IEP and IFSP meetings as necessary.
  • Assist evaluation teams by troubleshooting issues that may arise during the evaluation process.
  • Conduct home and center based evaluations and/or observations as needed
  • Provide ongoing training and workshops for evaluators
  • Complete regular quality assurance audits
  • Communicate frequently with various school districts, other referral sources and parents.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:

  • Individual must hold a valid certification as a School Psychologist, Special Education or Masters in Social Work to ensure clinical competence.
  • Successful experience working in a high volume work environment where organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook a must.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking individual preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Remain current with regard to policy and regulations

*Please note that this role's location is a full-time in office position.Willing to travel to attend in person meetings in Westchester (outside of office) as needed.

*Hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm and OT as needed.
