Satisfactory completion of the course requires active participation in all journal club discussions, completion of a post-course quiz/survey with reflective responses to questions such as “What did you learn?”, “How can you use what you learned in the clinical setting?”, and “What were the study’s limitations?”. These requirements include providing thoughtful, evidence-based answers to these questions and demonstrating an understanding of the material presented.

Feeding therapy doesn’t have to be rigid or stressful—especially in early intervention. This workshop explores how play-based, child-led approaches can support feeding therapy goals in a way that is developmentally appropriate, engaging, and neurodiversity-affirming. Participants will learn how to embed sensory exploration, motor skills, and food interactions into playful routines that reduce pressure and build trust. Emphasis will be placed on caregiver coaching, responsive feeding strategies, and respecting a child’s autonomy while still making meaningful progress.
