Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy and Autism Services provides pediatric therapy to help children reach their fullest potential. ABA, occupational, and speech therapy are provided throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. We provide evaluations, individualized treatment goals and plans, family training, and a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to your child’s therapeutic needs.

Our professional and licensed staff is committed to serving children with physical and developmental disabilities and delays and children who might need some extra assistance. Services are provided in home, as well as in our clinic located in Whittier, CA. We provide children with the opportunity to conveniently receive therapies in one location, along with social skills groups for our ABA therapy clients. We accept many major insurance providers, work with many regional centers, and have private pay options available as well. Meet Our Clinical Directors


Shain Davis, OTD, OTR/L, California Clinical Director of Los Angeles - Doctor Shain Davis has worked in pediatrics since 2007. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention studies at the University of Southern California (USC), he began working as a pediatric developmental specialist, serving at risk and/or disabled infants in their homes. Shain returned to USC in 2010 and received his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Occupational Science. While at USC, Shain received specialized pediatric training including immersive clinic and school based internships. Shain was also selected to be a part of the Emerging Leaders Development Program, a program run by the American Occupational Therapy Association, to promote growth, leadership and innovation within the field of occupational therapy. Since coming to Achieve Beyond in 2013, Shain has practiced as an occupational therapist and also oversees the related service aspects of the California clinic. As the head of a great team of occupational, and speech therapists, Shain promotes effective and meaningful service delivery and ensures that all Achieve Beyond family needs are met. A blend of evidence-based practice and clinical experience is what drive’s the clinic’s client-centered approach.


Maritza Reyes-Trevino, M.A., BCBA, ABA Clinical Director of Los Angeles - Maritza Reyes-Trevino is a Board Certified Behavior Analysist who has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2009. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton and a Master’s Degree in Arts and Teaching: Emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from National University. Maritza began her career in the field working as a 1:1 Community Integration Specialist, 1:1 Classroom Behavioral Support Aide, and In Home Direct Interventionist in which she implemented behavior intervention plans and provided support for parents and teachers. Throughout the years Maritza has developed individualized client programs targeting socially significant behaviors in home as well as in the community, parent and staff trainings. Through a supervisory role Maritza collaborated with both Regional Centers and insurance companies on client progress and programming. Since joining Achieve Beyond in 2017, Maritza has been responsible for conducting assessments and re-assessments as well as developing social skills programming for clients in home and in a clinic setting where she oversees a growing clinical team. Maritza has developed a special interest in provider and parent trainings where she finds great pride in continuing to support individuals and families alike.


Melanie Harincar, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA, Clinical Supervisor of San Francisco - Melanie Harincar is Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2016. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota in 2014 followed by a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2018. While obtaining her Master’s, Melanie began working in the field of ABA as a Registered Behavior Technician for Achieve Beyond in Fairfax, VA. During her time as a RBT, Melanie was mentored and molded into a BCBA and earned her certification in 2018, providing services with Achieve Beyond. Since joining Achieve Beyond, Melanie has conducted direct therapy, assessments and re-assessments, developed programming for clients in home and a clinic environment, collaborated with many Speech, OT and Physical Therapists and provided ongoing supervision to behavior therapists. In January 2020, Melanie relocated to California where she serves as a Clinical Supervisor for San Francisco and East Bay area. She is passionate about providing quality services to clients and their families utilizing Verbal Behavior methodology and including the entire family when programming and developing a treatment plan for her clients.
