Achieve Beyond provides autism services in these counties in the state of California:

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy and Autism Services provides pediatric therapy to help children reach their fullest potential. Therapy, behavioral, and family support services are provided throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. We also provide initial screenings, parent or school consultations, comprehensive evaluations and assessments.

Our professional and licensed staff is committed to serving special needs children with physical and developmental disabilities/delays and/or children who might need some extra assistance. Services are provided in home, school, or community environments, as well as in our clinic located in Whittier, CA. We accept many major insurance providers, and have private pay options available as well. If you are a provider, we have many exciting career opportunities in our California office.

Meet Our Clinical Directors


Cristina Vega, M.S., BCBA, ABA Clinical Director - Cristina Vega is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the Clinical Director of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services at Achieve Beyond in Whittier California. Since 2003 she has worked in the Greater Los Angeles area providing behavior therapy services to a wide variety of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, including children, adolescence, teens, and adults. Cristina studied ABA at California State University Los Angeles (CSULA) where she attained a Master of Science degree in Counseling Applied Behavior Analysis in 2010. Along with a Master’s degree in ABA, Cristina received a certificate in Autism from CSULA and over her career has concentrated her focus on working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She has extensive experience in conducting functional behavior assessments and standardized skill assessments, designing and writing behavior intervention and individualized skill acquisition plans, and providing direct support, supervision and consultation for in-home and clinic-based ABA programs. She has worked on early intensive programs for children as young as 18 months, has organized social skills groups and community integration programs for children, teens, and young adults. Additionally, Cristina has provided consultation in public and private school districts for education professionals and has developed and conducted ABA training and resources for parents and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). Cristina joined Achieve Beyond in January 2015. As the ABA Clinical Director, Cristina provides day-to-day clinical leadership and support related to the quality and development of the ABA program and actively disseminates information about ABA therapy to the community by attending local events and presenting to community members such as parents, professionals, and qualified health care providers.


Shain Davis, OTD, OTR/L, California Clinical Director - Doctor Shain Davis has worked in pediatrics since 2007. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention studies at the University of Southern California (USC), he began working as a pediatric developmental specialist, serving at risk and/or disabled infants in their homes. Shain returned to USC in 2010 and received his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Occupational Science. While at USC, Shain received specialized pediatric training including immersive clinic and school based internships. Shain was also selected to be a part of the Emerging Leaders Development Program, a program run by the American Occupational Therapy Association, to promote growth, leadership and innovation within the field of occupational therapy. Since coming to Achieve Beyond in 2013, Shain has practiced as an occupational therapist and also oversees the related service aspects of the California clinic. As the head of a great team of occupational, physical, and speech therapists, Shain promotes effective and meaningful service delivery and ensures that all Achieve Beyond family needs are met. A blend of evidence-based practice and clinical experience is what drive’s the clinic’s client-centered approach.
