Job Summary:
  • Ensure all referrals received are paired with an appropriate therapist in a timely manner
  • Conduct quality assurance responsibilities including, but not limited to, internal case audits, parent surveys and review of concerns regarding cases.
  • Conduct regular monitoring of therapist productivity to ensure approved services are provided consistently; communicate any identified concerns to the appropriate Manager
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise throughout the life of a case.
  • Hold trainings and workshops for clinical team as needed
  • Remain current with and ensure all cases meet state and county regulations
  • Provide any needed coverage or assistance to the Preschool Department as needed
  • Conduct regular outreach activities
  • Attend meetings as needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Director

$65,000-$70,000 annually

Qualifications and other requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in Special Education
  • Must be a NYS certified Special Education Teacher: Initial or Professional Students with Disabilities Birth – 2 OR Permanent Special Education or Students with Disabilities All Grades
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Superior organizational and long-range planning skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including excel
  • Fluent in a second language a plus.
Physical Requirements of the Role:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Compensation: $65,000-$70,000.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm. This position is in office.
