The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for connecting therapy providers with pediatric referrals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Referrals: Efficiently staff all incoming pediatric therapy referrals to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Optimize Provider Placement: Assign therapists to condensed geographic areas to maximize productivity and meet required service hours.
  • Monitor Availability: Keep a close eye on therapist schedules and availability to ensure coverage and balance.
  • Communicate Proactively: Serve as a key liaison between families, therapists, referral sources, and internal departments.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other departments to ensure services begin promptly and smoothly.
  • Leverage Reporting Tools: Use internal reports to track staffed hours and identify gaps in provider availability.
  • Support Providers: Assist with provider-related concerns and help resolve issues as they arise.
  • Drive Outreach Efforts: Conduct daily outreach to meet departmental goals and help providers achieve their desired caseloads.
  • Manage Authorizations: Follow up on service authorizations and handle related documentation.
  • Adapt and Assist: Take on additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support team success.

Qualifications and other requirements:
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a must.
  • Office experience required.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to interact with a broad spectrum of people.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with excellent work ethic.

Compensation: Full-time hourly non-exempt $21-24 per hour
Hours: In office, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm
