How to Make Slime

Hi, my name is Deborah, and I’m a behavior therapist here at Achieve Beyond. Do you have a hard time keeping your child occupied? Do you struggle with finding a fun activity? Here is an activity that you and your child can do with your family. A lot of children love slime because it’s fun, it’s colorful and it’s very squishy. Here are some materials that you can use to make slime. So we have a glue and we have food coloring here, baking soda, a contact solution, I have a glove just in case things get messy, a spoon, and a cup. So the first thing we could do is have the cup out, and next we can start wearing our gloves just in case things get a bit messy. Now, we have the glue, and then we can pour, usually this whole glue is enough.

You can start inputting the food coloring. So for instance, I want to use yellow so we can start putting in couple of drops. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, we can start off with five drops. And then we can start mixing it a bit. And then once that is over, we can add a little bit of contact solution, and then we can start adding baking soda. So depending on how your slime is turning out, you can either keep adding baking soda or the contact solution. We’re going to start taking it out and then use our hands to mix it. And then keep rolling it and here you have a slime. And this is how we can make slime.
