Job Summary:

The Service Coordination Supervisor is responsible in ensuring that the SC Department adheres to the policies and procedures set forth by New York State, Westchester Department of Health, and all governing bodies. The Supervisor oversees a number of Service Coordinators and monitoring compliance of cases while keeping quantity and quality together.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Be up to date with rules and regulatory changes to provide guidance to the Service Coordinators.
  • Conduct trainings for the Department and for an individual SC if needed.
  • Review and give feedback to the Service Coordinator regarding SC notes to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Maintain a positive and dynamic relationship with provider agencies, parents, SC, city officials and any other programs that work with EIP.
  • Provide technical support to Service Coordinators and assist in resolving issues regarding cases that a Service Coordinators might have.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to Service Coordinators.
  • Track, review and monitor compliance of the Service Coordinators to EI timelines.
  • Monitor the department’s productivity and ensure timely submission of notes.
  • Run reports in the database & any reporting tool to monitor the department.
  • Work with the Billing and Accounts Receivable department on any billing matters.
  • Audit cases as deemed necessary such as SC resignation, case transfers, case closure or audit.
  • Conduct a random audit on a sample of SC Cases every other month and report results to manager.
  • Prepare agenda and update dashboards on a regular basis.
  • Provide Supervision for SCs on a regular basis. All SCs must be supervised at least every other month at a minimum.
  • Work with other departments collaboratively to ensure good and open communication is present.

Requirements of the Role:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a health or human service field.
  • Self-motivated individual who will be able to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Can multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Must have the set-up to work from home if and when needed.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Must be available to work in office Monday – Thursday.  Friday optional remote based on key performance indicators.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Ability to read extensive material/documentation.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
