Job Summary:

The Evaluation Supervisor oversees the programs staffing and operations for NYC and LI Evaluations. The Supervisor establishes and maintains a professional working relationship with all referral sources. Is responsible for conducting outreach and assigning clinically appropriate evaluators to children referred through the CPSE and CSE Programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor staffing reports for both LI and NYC evaluations
  • Staff all on going evaluations for NYC Evaluations
  • Ensures all department inboxes are up to date
  • Conducts data entry activities for all received referrals
  • Communicates with various referral sources, providing frequent updates on the status of referrals
  • Is responsible for documentation of all activities that take place within the life of a case
  • Conducts daily outreach to various referral sources
  • Works efficiently to ensure departmental goals are met consistently
  • Maintains excellent professional relationships with referral sources
  • Utilizes various databases and programs to monitor department
  • Assist with NYC and LI  Billing Issues
  • Provides coverage and assistance to the Evaluation Staffing Coordinators as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications and other requirements:
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Physical Requirements of the Role:
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
