.1 ASHA CE

This workshop explores how internalizing behaviors (e.g., withdrawal, anxiety, selective mutism) and externalizing behaviors (e.g., tantrums, impulsivity) can reflect underlying communication challenges in toddlers and preschoolers. Participants will learn to recognize these behaviors as communication signals, understand their developmental and neurological roots, and apply responsive, neurodiversity-affirming strategies to support both regulation and language development.
