Meaningful Assessments
225 Broadhollow Rd, Suite 402, Melville, NY 11747  (631) 385-7780
Monday, February 18, 2019, 12:00pm - 02:00pm

Presenter: Erin Geiselmann, MA, BCBA, LBA

How do we conduct a skills assessment that is meaningful to parents, their child, and funders?
Standardized assessment tools are great resources for BCBAs to identify strengths and weaknesses
of their client. Conducting these assessments in a traditional way is time consuming and does not paint
the clearest picture of parent need or medical necessity. This workshop will focus on creating goals that
are functional and socially significant (or have social validity).
