ABA Edison, New Jersey

Our professional and caring ABA staff in New Jersey are driven to make a difference in the lives of the children and families they serve. Achieve Beyond services are provided in home, clinic, or community environments, where we focus on creating meaningful learning opportunities that will help the child reach their fullest potential. We strive to collaborate with our families and teams of professionals to address the diverse and unique needs of each individual and effectively achieve the goals of each child.

Achieve Beyond’s insurance program provides home, community, and clinic based ABA therapy for NJ children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through medical insurance. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) create individualized treatment plans based on collaboration with the family and individual in order to ensure meaningful and functional goals that will help a child increase their independence and happiness.

Treatment is based in the natural environment and is carried out by our wonderful, professional behavior therapists and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and is supervised closely by our BCBAs. Family training and social skills groups are offered to our central and northern New Jersey families to continue to foster growth and learning. New Jersey telehealth ABA services are also available.

Our online practice management system allows for families to monitor progress instantly while also having the convenience to view session notes, invoices, and program goals. We are in-network with most major insurance companies including (but not limited to) Cigna, United, Horizon, Beacon Health Options, Aetna, Qualcare,  and we offer private-pay options as well.

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific, problem-solving approach designed to produce socially-significant outcomes. In other words, Behavior Analysts aim to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities using the science of behavior.

With a focus on positive reinforcement and motivation, behavior analysis has become the leading therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as it teaches children functional behaviors  to help them become happy and more independent individuals. The application of ABA is not limited to individuals with Autism, however, over 60 years of research supports its effectiveness in meeting the complex needs of this population.

Achieve Beyond’s ABA Programs include:

  • Team consisting of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and highly trained Behavior Therapist (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Verbal Behavior approach to increase language
  • Comprehensive Assessment with individualized goals focusing on increasing a child’s independence and happiness
  • Parent Training/Team meetings to encourage generalizations
  • Errorless teaching procedures to minimize frustration
  • Naturalistic teaching in a fun environment in order to capture a child’s motivation and keep them interested
  • Functional Behavior Assessment to determine why problem behaviors occur to determine the best strategies to teach
  • Functional Communication Training to replace problem behaviors with appropriate behavior
  • Social skills focused teaching plans and groups
  • Individualized, data-driven treatment plans are constantly and consistently updated based on the child’s progress
  • Quality Assurance mechanisms in place
