Achieve Beyond was founded in 1995 and is continuously growing to meet the needs of developmentally disabled children through our ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy .We currently offer our services in the entire metro New York area (including the five boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley and Long Island) and Albany, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, the greater Los Angeles area, and the Virginia/ Maryland/ DC area. We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings. Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of occupational therapy services under the direction of a Licensed Occupational Therapist to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Provides goal directed and activity oriented treatment to promote optimum independence in self-care, functional mobility and daily life tasks.
  • Provides adaptive methods and equipment as appropriate to enhance performance.
  • Administer treatment focusing on activities of daily living, cognition, social skills, sensory motor, fine motor development, and problem solving.
  • Determine appropriateness of patient’s response to treatment and consult with licensed occupational therapist concerning modifications to plan of care.
  • Identifies patient/family needs for other services and refers accordingly

Requirements:

  • Must have a passion for working with children and families
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
  • Hold a CA State License as an OTA
  • Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
