With the invention of the iPad and rise of tablets in general many apps have been created to aid in developmental therapies of children on the Autistic spectrum. Here are 10 that come highly recommended by Applied Behavior Analysts, BCBAs and special needs parents.     1. AutisMate

      AutisMate's is a great app for children with Autism because of it’s comprehensive approach that encourages users to develop communication and behavioral skills simultaneously, allowing each skill to build on the other through features like video modeling, stories, schedules and much more.

    2. Drawing Pad

      Drawing Pad is a mobile art studio app that is great for children with Autism at all ages! The app allows the creation of artwork with your fingers through realistic crayons, markers, paint brushes, colored pencils, stickers, roller pens and more! This app is a fun way for children to draw and write words.
    3. MathBoard

      Proloquo2Go® provides a “voice” to over 50,000 individuals around the world, who are unable to speak or have difficulty speaking. Proloquo2Go enables people to talk using symbols or typed text in a natural-sounding voice that suits their age and character.
