Achieve Beyond is a national Pediatric Therapy and Autism Services agency. With offices in New York (Metro area/Long Island, Hudson Valley & Albany), New Jersey, Virginia/DC area, Connecticut, Maryland, Southern Florida, and California (greater Los Angeles), Achieve Beyond provides quality evaluation and therapy services such as special education, autism services, speech, physical, and occupational therapies to children birth through twenty-one years of age.

We are looking for a dynamic, professional, and hardworking CSE Case Manager to join our growing team in Melville. The CSE Case Manager oversees the daily functions of the CSE program, by ensuring all cases are staffed, Individualized Education Plan’s (IEP) are reviewed and services are being provided in accordance with the student’s IEP.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter all initial case information into the database and assign providers to all new CSE cases for LI and follow-up on cases pending authorization
  • Assign cases to providers considering family schedule, dominant language of the family, and other relevant factors
  • Enter all referrals unable to staff in AppPack
  • Ensure documentation of all cases in activity log and monitor student roster
  • Ensure Confirmation of Start Dates are received upon initial session and follow-up on outstanding ones
  • To ensure that IEP recommendations are implemented in accordance with state and county regulations
  • To ensure that all service providers involved have a strong understanding of the student’s IEP and have knowledge of the specific accommodations, program modifications, supports and/or services involved prior to the initiation of services
  • Monitor all information entered in the agency’s database and confirm that it is accurate
  • Maintain 100% compliance with case documentation in activity log as well as case upkeep
  • Serve as a liaison to the Districts, as needed
  • Communicate regularly and assist teachers/therapists with any issues that may arise
  • Conduct initial, annual, and final audits per case/closing cases
  • Document any gaps in services (AppPack)
  • Ensure quarterly progress reports and annuals are submitted
  • Collaborate with billing to ensure make-up sessions are being provided 100%.
  • Work with billing to decrease on-hold’s and investigate billing issues
  • Review and Scan Bi-weekly session notes to billing
  • Analyze productivity and unit utilization and create initiatives to increase overall output
  • Review therapist evaluation through analyzing therapist productivity
  • Conduct new provider orientation
  • Out reach to districts for new cases
  • Other duties assigned by manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree and staffing experience preferred
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication- verbal and written
  • Self-motivated with an excellent work ethic
  • Takes initiative and can make decisions independently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Success experience working in a high volume work environment where organizational and multi-tasking skills were essential
