Achieve Beyond is a national Pediatric Therapy and Autism Services agency. With offices in New York (Metro area/Long Island, Hudson Valley & Albany), New Jersey, Virginia/DC area, Connecticut, Minnesota, Maryland, Delaware, and California (greater Los Angeles & Orange County, and San Diego). Achieve Beyond provides quality evaluation and therapy services such as special education, autism services, speech, physical, and occupational therapies to children birth through twenty-one years of age via telehealth, in clinic and in homes and the community.

We are looking for a dynamic, professional, and hardworking Program Support Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for assisting case managers with daily tasks as well as various departments with coverage/miscellaneous tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • 1-2 days in Melville Clinic, other days in Melville Corporate office
  • Process Plan of Cares for clients
  • Verify all benefits
  • Request authorizations
  • Input in all authorizations received
  • Create spreadsheets to send claims back for reprocessing i.e entering claim numbers
  • Quality Assurance-quarterly audits including parent surveys
  • Ongoing prescription tracking
  • Coverage for various departments
  • Other duties as assigned by manager


Requirements:

  • One to Two years of experience working in health care billing.
  • Knowledge of Insurance rules, regulations and compliance guidelines.
  • Medical Insurance Experience Preferred
  • Flexibility to work until 7:30pm on some days
  • Ability to multitask and respond quickly to concerns
  • Strong Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
