Achieve Beyond is a national Pediatric Therapy and Autism Services agency. With offices in New York (Metro area/Long Island, Hudson Valley & Albany), New Jersey, Virginia/DC area, Connecticut, Minnesota, Maryland, Delaware, and California (greater Los Angeles & Orange County, and San Diego). Achieve Beyond provides quality evaluation and therapy services such as special education, autism services, speech, physical, and occupational therapies to children birth through twenty-one years of age via telehealth, in clinic and in homes and the community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, hardworking Social Media Specialist to join our growing team in either our Forest Hills or Melville location! The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for dramatically expanding the company’s growing social media and digital impact. They will be focused on increasing our brand awareness and viable therapy referrals and job applicants. They will create/manage all social media content and scheduling, work internally with managers regarding content, and always be looking to boost our presence.

  • Manages social media metrics and provides monthly analytic findings to management with ideas/solutions for improvement
  • Implements social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google, Pinterest, blogs, etc.) that reinforce our brand recognition and visual aesthetic in concert with our Social Media vendor
  • Partners with internal managers and departments to ensure social media content and design creation aligns with current business objectives in a timely manner
  • Engages online community members (special needs groups) to promote services offered and to increase new referrals to programs
  • Stays on top of current and emerging social media channels and presents information for opportunities for growth
  • Edits short and long videos for social media platforms and Learning Management system.
  • Creates frequent new content for social media channels
  • Edit work on the backend of our company website
  • Develops and maintains a weekly posting schedule across various social media channels and email blasts (Plans monthly/quarterly/yearly)
  • Builds and maintains relationships with vendors and social media platforms to manage positive SEO presence
  • Creation of monthly employee newsletter, workshop postings, job postings, and communication memos.
  • Serves as a back-up to the Design Coordinator regarding creation of flyers, online ads, and materials for outreach purposes
  • New duties added as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Design, and/or related degree
  • 3+ years working on social media campaigns
  • Video Editing
  • Photo Editing
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Photography experience a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Creative Suite
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, metrics, and tracking
  • Extremely organized
  • Has a passion for social media, strong communication skills, and possesses a positive can-do attitude!

*Please note that this role is not a remote position. Location: Forest Hills or Melville Office. Willing to travel between offices periodically as needed for video shoots.
