Achieve Beyond is a national Pediatric Therapy and Autism Services agency. With offices in New York (Metro area/Long Island, Hudson Valley & Albany), New Jersey, Virginia/DC area, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Southern Florida, Tennessee and California (greater Los Angeles & San Francisco). Achieve Beyond provides quality evaluation and therapy services such as special education, autism services, speech, physical, and occupational therapies to children birth through twenty-one years of age. We are currently looking to hire a Part-Time: School Age Administrative Assistant​ to join our growing team.

The Part-Time: School Age Administrative Assistant​ assists the CSE department by ensuring Individualized Education Plans are reviewed and services are being provided in accordance with the student’s IEP.

Responsibilities:

  • The work hours are 3 full days from 9 am - 5:30 pm
  • Ensure Confirmation of Start Dates are received upon initial sessions and follow-up on outstanding ones
  • To ensure that IEP recommendations are implemented in accordance with state and county regulations
  • To ensure that all service providers involved have a strong understanding of the student’s IEP and have knowledge of the specific accommodations, program modifications, supports and/or services involved prior to the initiation of services
  • Monitor all information entered in the agency’s database and confirm that is accurate
  • Maintain 100% compliance with case documentation in activity log as well as case upkeep
  • Serve as a liaison to the Districts, as needed
  • Ensure quarterly progress reports and annuals are submitted
  • Work with Billing to decrease on-hold’s and investigate billing issues
  • Review and Scan Bi-weekly session notes to billing
  • Conduct new provider orientation
  • Assist with Staffing, as needed
  • E-file progress reports, session notes and case paperwork
  • Assist with Hard filing, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication – verbal and written
  • Self-motivated with an excellent work ethic
  • Take initiative and can make decisions independently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Success experience working in a high volume work environment where organizational and multi-tasking skills were essential
