Achieve Beyond is a growing national agency focused on serving children with special needs by providing autism services, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and other related services. With offices in New York (Metro area/Long Island, Hudson Valley & Albany), New Jersey, Virginia/DC area, Delaware, Connecticut, Maryland, Southern Florida, and California (greater Los Angeles area, the greater San Francisco area, San Diego, and Orange County). We are currently looking to hire an Evaluations Coordinator for our Purchase office to join our growing team.

The Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all evaluation reports are received in a timely manner to ensure compliance with state mandated timelines. The Coordinator will ensure the evaluation process flows smoothly and meets all quality assurance expectations.

  • Responsible for ensuring all evaluation reports are received in a timely manner
  • Conduct various data entry activities to ensure compliance with state and county regulations.
  • Utilizes the CLAIMS database, public folders and necessary reports to manage referrals
  • Communicate with referral sources regarding the progress of the evaluation process
  • Submit complete evaluation packets to the appropriate individuals.
  • Ensures all Early Intervention families are contacted once the evaluation packet is submitted
  • Works efficiently to meet departmental goals and compliance deadlines
  • Ensures all children who are evaluated have a medical form on file
  • Conducts outreach for referrals as needed and maintains excellent professional relationships with referral sources
  • Manages meeting calendar and secures an Evaluation Representative for all IFSP/CPSE meetings
  • Follows up with meeting representatives to obtain meeting results
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working in a fast paced, high volume work environment
  • Microsoft office experience a must
  • Fluency in written and oral Spanish and English is required
