Achieve Beyond is a national Pediatric Therapy and Autism Services agency. With offices in New York (Metro area/Long Island, Hudson Valley & Albany), New Jersey, Virginia/DC area, Connecticut, Minnesota, Maryland, Delaware, and California (greater Los Angeles & Orange County, and San Diego). Achieve Beyond provides quality evaluation and therapy services such as special education, autism services, speech, physical, and occupational therapies to children birth through twenty-one years of age via telehealth, in clinic and in homes and the community.

We are looking to hire a dynamic Human Resources Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish). They will be responsible for HR administrative and employee relations tasks for NYC. This position will be a point person responsible for contract creation, immigration meetings, and communication for international candidates and employees. They will be professional, friendly, and confident. There is no task too big or too small. We are looking for a candidate who is driven, independent, a confident communicator with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Human Resources Responsibilities
    • Conducts new hire orientations for NYC and coordinates scheduling and onboarding of all international candidates
    • Professionally handles all NYC Employee Relations issues
    • Conducts HR Interviews: stay, anniversary, tenure, and exit interviews; communicates feedback/bring trends to light with suggestions for improvement (Full-time therapists, Forest Hills admin staff)
    • Conducts I-9 and HR audits
    • Serves as a translator/backup for meetings/processing of claims as needed for Worker's Compensation, maternity, and disability for full-time salaried providers/bilingual staff
    • Other duties assigned by the manager as needed
  • Immigration Responsibilities
    • Administrative organization of files
    • Meet with all providers regarding their green card procedure
    • Creation and tracking of international contracts
    • Maintaining communication with the program related to all updates for international candidates/employees as needed
    • Responsible for creation and distribution of embassy packets to our international consultant

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior office experience a must
  • Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills required
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills required (must feel comfortable in person, virtually, via telephone, or email)
  • Excellent demonstrated follow up skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Ability to interact with all employee levels
  • Demonstrated adaptability
  • Must be fully Bilingual Spanish (speak/read/write)
