The Preschool Staffing Coordinator is responsible for processing all evaluation referrals that are submitted to Achieve Beyond and coordinating with families and evaluators to assist in the evaluation process. They oversee the life cycle of all evaluations and ensure compliance timelines are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Referral intake of CPSE (preschool) children whose parents have received the initial CPSE packet
  • Inform parents of the evaluation process during the referral intake
  • Following up with parents and Service coordinators during the intake process
  • Daily documentation in CLAIMS for all evaluation activities
  • Staffing evaluators for all CPSE evaluations
  • Work collaboratively with the Evaluations Coordinator and Evaluations Manager
  • Maintains positive relationships and consistent communication with all NYC officials regarding evaluations
  • Ensures timelines are met for the evaluation process and staffs cases in a timely manner to ensure compliance
  • Maintains and creates relationships with internal and external service coordinators as well as daycare/HeadStart educational directors to maintain a healthy referral volume
  • Submitting required forms to the school district within 24 hours of receipt from evaluator
  • Obtain documentation and paperwork from districts when needed for the evaluation process
  • Coverage for Evaluations Coordinator
  • Other duties as assigned by manager


Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred)
  • Experience working in a fast paced, high volume work environment a must
  • Previous exposure to El and CPSE programs a plus
  • Previous staffing experience a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Microsoft office experience a must
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Must be organized, motivated, and willing to work as part of a team and independently
  • Must have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
