Come join a team of passionate therapists providing excellent pediatric therapy to children throughout the United States! Achieve Beyond was founded in 1995 and is continuously growing to meet the needs of developmentally disabled children through our ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy. We currently offer our SLP services in the entire metro New York area (including the five boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley and Long Island) and Albany, New Jersey, Connecticut, California (the greater Los Angeles & San Francisco area), Florida, Tennessee, Delaware, and the Virginia/ Maryland/ DC area. We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings. Locations:

SLP positions available throughout Los Angeles County

Full time Salaried positions open based in Clinic and/or Early Intervention
*$1,000 Sign On Bonus Offered After 3 Months*

Responsibilities:

  • Work involves developmental screening/assessment, speech therapy services and consultation with family members and other professionals working with the family.
  • Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over at community settings.
  • Work is performed in such diverse settings as clinic, client homes, family day care homes, day care centers, or other community settings.
  • Follow Individualized Service Plan, plan ongoing treatment, and interprets goals and treatment plan to parents and makes recommendations for further developmental assessments as needed
  • Participate in monthly agency staff meeting
  • Prepares progress reports at six month intervals and annual reviews
  • Maintains client records and submit them to agency within established deadlines.
  • Other duties assigned by immediate supervisor within scope of work.

SLP Supervisor Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children birth – 5 is preferred but open to train new graduates. Must be able to work with some degree of independence within established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines
  • Must possess California state license to practice Speech Therapy

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • The ability to climb and descend staircases
  • The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
  • The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods

Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
