We are seeking a dedicated Senior Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Lead to join our Virginia team. The Senior RBT Lead will provide their regular RBT duties (provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on the principles of ABA to children with Autism) in addition to other duties to help support the clinical team. These additional duties include: Training new staff, assisting with program material organization and development, assisting with our safety- organizational systems, and facilitating support to other team members when needed

We currently offer our RBT services in the entire metro New York area (including the five boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley and Long Island) and Albany, New Jersey, Minnesota, Connecticut, California (greater Los Angeles area, San Diego, and Orange County), Delaware, and the Virginia/ Maryland/ DC area. We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings. Virginia Locations:

Senior RBT lead position is available in the Fairfax, VA clinic


  • Conduct skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments under the supervision of the Behavior Analyst and ABA Interns.
  • Provide initial and ongoing staff education and training
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between all members of the client’s team including staff, Behavior Analysts, parents, and outside health professionals.
  • Facilitate day-to-day operations of the team by ensuring that all necessary paperwork, materials, scheduling, and documentation are up to date.
  • Update & maintain data collection systems & disseminate information to team.
  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
  • Provide BT substitute services to help cover sick and vacation time
  • Assist with the training and on-boarding of new ABA staff
  • Provide ongoing on the job BT mentoring and skill development
  • Provide an agreed minimum number of billable service hours
  • RBTs must maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations

RBT Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • At least 1 year of exemplary performance as a RBT or BT at Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy or at least 2 years of exemplary performance as a RBT or BT with another ABA provider.
  • Must have full time availability that matches the hours of the clinic

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • The ability to climb and descend staircases
  • The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
  • The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods

Compensation is determined based on experience and education, and will be discussed during the interview process.
