Data Entry Clerk

We are a mid-sized national Healthcare agency based in Forest Hills, Queens with a diverse population of employees. We are currently seeking a Billing Clerk. The Billing Clerk will be responsible for gathering records of all the transactions of services provided. The ideal candidate should be a detailed oriented person and able to work under pressure. The candidate will be responsible of entering and processing claims into the database and will use knowledge of computers, customer service, technology and telecommunication to perform the required tasks.


  1. Processing session notes while reviewing data to ensure accuracy
  2. Researching and resolving issues with cases
  3. Contact with other departments and providers
  4. Assist during department audit and special projects as needed
  5. Follow up with providers for corrections
  6. Other administrative responsibilities
  7. Process Service Coordination notes verification
  8. Conduct monthly internal audit.


Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Technical Skills: Strong data entry skills and computer skills, including spreadsheet and word processing programs and e-mail at a highly proficient level.

Other Skills: Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required.
