Pursuant to 20 C.F.R. §656.10, notice is provided of the filing of an application for permanent labor certification for the following job opportunity:

Title: ABA Instructor

Duties: Provide ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) special education instruction to children with autism and other developmental delays, age zero to three. Provide education sessions to children in their homes in the Staten Island borough of New York, New York. Utilize ABA methodologies such as discrete trials and behavior reinforcers to improve the child's social, communication, and cognitive abilities. Plan curriculum, prepare lessons and other instructional materials. Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the child's specific needs, interests and abilities. Collaborate with parents and multidisciplinary team of special educators, psychologists and therapists to define appropriate goals and program activities. Train parents in activities and techniques for continuing working with the child throughout the week. Prepare written reports and document the child's progress toward meeting established objectives. Participate in parent conferences, case conferences and IFSP meetings.

Location: The homes of children in the Bronx borough of New York, New York and Achieve Beyond, 70-00 Austin St, Ste 200, Forest Hills, NY 11375.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Speech Language Pathology or a closely related field; New York Speech and Language Disabilities teaching certificate or New York Speech & Hearing Handicapped teaching certificate.

Salary: $62,197.00 per year

Pursuant to 20 C.F.R. §656.10, notice is hereby being provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent labor certification for the following job opportunity:

Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Duties: In consultation with the clinical supervisor, develop individualized therapy plans to meet the individual child's needs, abilities, and speech-language development goals. Plan speech-language pathology sessions, according to the clinical supervisor's recommendations. Assess and treat speech-language, voice, and other related disorders of children with developmental delays and disabilities. Administer, score, and interpret speech tests. Collaborate with parents and a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals and special educators to develop and modify the child's individual education-therapy program. Perform team sessions with the clinical supervisor and receive onsite clinical training and guidance. Attend clinical trainings on program policies and procedures and performing speech-language pathology needs evaluations. Attend trainings on speech-language pathology theory and practical clinical methodologies. Attend workshops and receive systematic training on preparation of clinical documentation. Prepare session notes and patient progress reports. Maintain records for the caseload.

Work Location: 70-00 Austin St, Ste 200, Forest Hills, NY and the homes of children in their in the Bronx borough of New York City, NY.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Speech Language Pathology or closely related field; New York State Speech Language Pathologist license

Salary: $64,002/year
