We are looking for a highly organized and detail oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. The receptionist will deliver exceptional customer service assistance and serve as a point of contact for front desk coverage, incoming phone calls, incoming and outgoing mail and faxes in our Forest Hills office.

  • Manages high volume of phone calls and routes to appropriate parties

  • Assists Office Manager with processing of NYEIS Notifications
  • Manages the lobby area and keeps it organized and clean
  • Maintains appearance and cleanliness of the office (kitchen, reception area, conference rooms, etc.)
  • Communicates any known office related issues to the Office Manager to ensure they are resolved in a timely fashion
  • Maintains health-related procedures, such as daily cleaning, scanning of cleaning logs, managing of PPE stock, etc.
  • Three holidays per year will be responsible for answering phones from home (July 4th, Memorial Day and Labor Day) and on early dismissal days covering the front desk operations until the end of business day
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Knowledge on MS Office programs and Outlook
  • Ability to work on major holidays
  • Flexibility in terms of work hours (early mornings and/or evenings)
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
