The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for educating the general public and professionals about the services Achieve Beyond provides. Responsible for creating rapport with the community such as pediatricians, daycares, shelters, preventive programs, Women Infant and Children (WIC), Early Learn programs, Head Start programs, or any location which serves individuals that will benefit from the services Achieve Beyond offers

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for outreaching and targeting assigned areas
  • Complete weekly visits to community settings/referral sources.
  • Build relationships with referral sources local to our varying service locations.
  • Conducting phone calls and sending materials on a regular basis.
  • Conducting presentations, workshops, attending community meetings, and attending health fairs as they arise
  • Monitoring the site visits and tracking of referrals
  • Using databases and applications to enter data and run reports.
  • Knowledge of Early Intervention (EI) and Committee for Pre-School Education (CPSE) preferred
  • Respond to inquiries for services through website submissions, phone calls/voicemails
  • Identify, organize and attend community events.

Requirements:
  • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong computer skills are required as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Self-motivated individual who will be able to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. 
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
  • Can multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Must have the set-up to work from home if and when needed.
  • Willing to travel around the NYC boroughs and do face-to-face contact.
  • A Licensed driver is a plus!
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Hourly Rate: $19-23
