Achieve Beyond is a growing national agency focused on serving children with special needs by providing autism services, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and other related services. We are currently looking to hire a Speech Clinical Supervisor to join our growing team in our Whittier, CA office. This is a full-time position and requires a valid CA SLP license as well as expierence with a pediatric setting.

Job Functions:

Responsible for the overall clinical management, development, and quality of all speech service cases for California office.

  • Escalation point for clinical concerns (productivity/reports/etc.)
  • Provide clinical supervision within program via onsite meetings and via phone or email.
  • Coordinate monthly meetings/workshops as needed within program for speech providers.
  • Parent escalation for clinical complaints-provide performance coaching and documentation as needed.
  • Quarterly QA audits and observations for speech cases.
  • Update CA website page with clinical templates, instructions and examples as needed.
  • Regular communication with CA administrative staff as to status of clinicians, assisting with pairing correct therapists on cases, and problem solving for difficult cases.
  • Weekly direct service provision.
  • Supervision of two full time SLPAs.
  • Participation in monthly CA Program Management meeting.
  • Coordinate outreach events including career fairs and interaction with local accredited speech-language programs.
  • Work in collaboration with ABA Director to assist children with behavior concerns in office.
  • Participation in initial orientation (in person or via phone), follow-up and competency evaluation for all new speech providers to ensure quality of service and comprehension of policies, procedures and paperwork.
  • *Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the program and at the manager’s discretion

Requirements:

    • Master’s Degree in related field and License.
    • At least 3 years of experience working with children in a clinic setting.
    • Be able to work with independence within established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines.
    • Must possess California license to practice related services.
    • Must possess valid driver's license.
    • Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process

Other Requirements:

  • Experience working with diverse pediatric populations is recommended, including those with Autism
