Established in 1995, Achieve Beyond provides pediatric and autism services to children, students and families throughout the United States including the greater Los Angeles, California (CA) area, Virginia (VA) / Maryland (MD) / DC area, the greater Dallas, Texas (TX) area, Long Island / NYC / Hudson Valley, New York (NY) region, and the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Job Functions:

Achieve Beyond is looking for an exceptional leader with a clinical background in Applied Behavior Analysis to lead the growth and clinical management of its Autism and Behavior Services Program. We provide in-home and clinic based ABA services for children with ASD or behavioral challenges in the Northern Virginia and Greater Metro/DC area. Services will be provided privately and through health insurances. The Clinical Director will lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of the day to day operations of the program.

Requirements:

  • Communicate and coordinate with Program Director/Office Manager to ensure company mission, philosophy and procedures are embraced.
  • Provide leadership in the areas of clinical and educational services, program evaluation, program development and training.
  • Design, implement and manage evidence-based ABA services (therapy, assessment, parent training, teacher training, etc.)
  • Establish and coordinate systems for the review of individual student progress and data-based modification of student learning programs.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of our full-time and part-time BCBAs and BCaBA in clinic and in-homes.
  • Build relationships with parents, the community and local leadersli>
  • Maintain a high quality of service and high standards for program design, staff development, and therapeutic services provided to clients.
  • Ensure that all aspects of program follow and meet all state compliance guidelines, and best practice from the BCBA board.
  • Supervise the clinical responsibilities of Autism Program:
    • Clinical review of all assessments
    • Monitor quality of treatment books and plans/BIPs
    • Determine training topics and schedules
    • Oversee the training and supervision of clinical staff
  • Outreach:
    • Continuous contact with all venues (school districts, clinics, EI, private, etc.) to establish reputation of the program in the area and increase referrals
    • 2.Build relationships with parents, community and local leaders, including presentations and workshops
  • Provide direct clinical services, supervision and consultative services to children.
  • Monitor productivity of full-time clinical staff.
  • Work in team and report all matters to Program Director.

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology or a related field.

CERTIFICATION: BCBA or BCBA-D required issued 2014 or earlier.

CERTIFICATION: BCBA or BCBA-D required issued 2014 or earlier.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least 5 years’ experience working with children with autism ages birth to 21; 3 years of administrative experience preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: BCBAs, BcaBAs, and BTs/RBTs.
